Video: Spurs players in high spirits in training after player messes up two-touch drill

The Tottenham Hotspur players were back out on the training pitch at Hotspur Way earlier today as part of their preparations for the weekend.

Spurs make the trip to Merseyside to face Everton on Sunday afternoon in what is a clash between two sides who would have been expected to have had a better start to the season.

The official Spurs Twitter account have shared footage of some of the players taking part in a two-touch drill where the aim is to keep the ball off the floor.

Ben Davies, Juan Foyth, Kyle Walker-Peters, Paulo Gazzaniga, Davinson Sanchez and Eric Dier all took part, with some impressive first touches on display.

However, who was at fault for the ball eventually hitting the floor seemed to be up for debate between Davies and Dier.

Dier’s pass to the Welshman certainly did not help matters, yet the Spurs players wasted no time in giving him some stick.
