Tottenham Hotspur have released a new teaser video on Twitter which hints that the club are set to announce the arrival of a new striker.
The North London club’s social media department decided to inject some humour into the video which claims that the computer they are using is unfamiliar with the word ‘striker’.
Tottenham have struggled to recruit a replacement forward to help Harry Kane with the goalscoring burden since Fernando Llorente left the club last summer.
Benfica revealed last night that they have agreed a season-long loan deal for Carlos Vinicius to make the move to Jose Mourinho’s side.
Spurs will pay a three million euro (£2.69m) loan fee and have the option of buying the 25-year-old for 45million euros (£40.38m) at the end of the season.
