On 14th May 2017, Tottenham Hotspur stepped foot onto the hallowed turf of White Hart Lane for the very last time when they hosted Manchester United in the Premier League.
The game was dubbed as the ‘finale’ and ensured the stadium received the emotional send off it so richly deserved as we won 2-1 to remain unbeaten in N17 throughout the entire campaign.
It’s staggering to think it has been two years since we said goodbye to the Lane to make way for our stunning 62,062 capacity seater stadium. While it was leave the Lane, anyone who has stepped foot in our new home will certainly say that it has been worth moving with the times.
Earlier today, the official Spurs Twitter account looked back on the match which ensured we kept our 100% record at home in our last season at our old home.
