To say that Tottenham Hotspur’s season has been filled with twists and turns would be underplaying the situation.
The club started the season ‘homeless’ at Wembley Stadium while work on the new 62,062 capacity seater stadium was finalised, fans then had to endure that the ongoing delays with the opening of the new venue in N17.
Mauricio Pochettino kept faith with the same playing squad throughout the campaign and did not dip into the transfer market in either window and also had to manage his team around some significant injury problems to key players.
Despite all the drama, Spurs have secured another season of Champions League football and will take part in this year’s final on June 1st.
The club have put together a video which looks back on the current season and gives a subtle hint towards the biggest game in the club’s history in Madrid.
