(Video) New Spurs stadium update – impressive progress made

The new Spurs stadium development has been under way for nearly six months and its amazing how much has changed during that time.

Only yesterday, Spurs revealed that they were trialling seating in the stadium during this coming week.

Spurs super fan Chris Cowlin has been back to N17 today for his weekly update on the stadium construction.

As we are about to embark on winter, we really need to hope we escape a harsh winter to keep the stadium build on track for next season. Construction is still taking place 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

One of the most impressive parts is how much work has been done to the new single tier south stadium – it’s going to be huge!

Take a look at the video update, below.

Have something to tell us about this article?

  1. Look forward every week to your updates, brilliant. More informative than the official stuff.I now am retired and living in France, but have been supporter since the 50’s. had a season ticket in the West stand for years. Would love to see what is happening inside and the progress there.

Hoping one day to attend a match at the new stadium

  2. Fantastic video viewing from Zambia, life long Spurs fun since 1991. It is a shame you were not allowed inside the stadium, I suppose for safety reasons. Keep on the good works of informing the supporters

  3. Great video. There should be a Bill Nicholson stand and also a Daniel Levy stand because we wouldn’t have this stadium or training facility without him. He is a Legend

I think I’m the end the Stadium will be the NIKE stadium (watch this space).

Can’t wait for it to be finished.

  4. Hi Chris I’m loving watching these videos the stadium is looking great I’m

Confident it will be ready for next season. PS ask Daniel levy .ps ask (Daniel levy (jokes) that you want show the fans inside. Thanks Chris keep up the good work.

  5. Looking great so far.
Just cannot wait to go to the 1 st game providing I can get tickets.
I am 63 years old now & been a Spurs fan since approx 1962-3.

These are such exciting times under the Poch Yid Army,

  6. Lived in USA for over 45 years but come over for matches whenever I can- love the notion the Tottenham experience will be extended to the WHL tube stop- first time I used it instead of Seven Sisters couldn't believe how emotional it was to be just around the corner from "The Lane". Will live and die a Spurs supporter –what a time to be in Harry's Herd- COYS !!

  7. Superb video and update showing our Majestic new home taking shape. I really can’t wait until we are back at ‘The Lane’ and singing our hearts out! The work that has been completed so far is really quite unbelievable. Well done to the ‘Mace’ team and all sub-contractors involved on our wonderful project.

Sincerely hope that at least one Stand is named after Billy Nick, if not the entire Stadium….’The Bill Nicholson Stadium’…like the sound of that!!

Please keep the updates coming as they are absolutely first class! Can already feel my heart going wooahh!! COYS!!

  8. Great stuff Chris! Always a pleasure to watch your videos, both the highly impressive new stadium progress reports and your match day fan cam experience.
