Video: Spurs star provides further rehab update following recent surgery

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Moussa Sissoko has taken to his Instagram story to share an update of his rehabilitation from injury.

The French midfielder damaged the medial collateral ligament in his right knee during the 1-0 defeat at Southampton on New Year’s Day.

The injury required the former Newcastle player to undergo surgery with the club hoping to have him back in training in early April (Spurs official).

Sissoko appears to be doing everything possible to return before the end of the season after he was seen undergoing a drill involving kicking a ball with his right foot and having to react to the light sensors surrounding him.

The 30-year-old will be hoping that he will be fit enough to be considered for selection for France’s Euro 2020 campaign after being left out of the squad which lifted the World Cup in 2018.
