Tottenham Hotspur laid a brand new grass playing surface at their brand new stadium earlier this month ahead of the upcoming season.

With the weather in the capital hitting over 30 degrees last week (AccuWeather), the Tottenham’s Head of Playing Surfaces & Estates took extra measures to keep the lush surface in tip top condition.

Baldwin took to Twitter to post footage of a giant fan spraying water onto the surface of the pitch to help relieve the stress on the grass during the baking heat.

The pitch looks in absolutely superb condition and fans will get the opportunity to watch their heroes in action once again in N17 next Sunday when Mauricio Pochettino’s side face Inter Milan in the final pre-season match before kicking off against Aston Villa on August 10th.
