Video: Spurs wonder kid nets second double in as many matches

Arugably the brightest young talent within the Tottenham Hotspur academy ranks is Troy Parrott.

The 17-year-old showed once again why there is so much hype about his potential after scoring a brace in Tottenham’s Under-18 match against rivals Chelsea.

Parrott has already this season been involved with Mauricio Pochettio’s first team having trained with the senior players and also acted as a travelling reserve for some of their fixtures.

He received his first U21 call-up to the Republic of Ireland side last month but had to withdraw due to injury.

He returned with a double against Aston Villa last Saturday and followed it up with two more against Chelsea and there is no doubt if he continues at this rate, he could be knocking on the first team soon enough.
