Tottenham Hotspur have broken the deadlock against Wolverhampton Wanderers after just twelve minutes of action in North London.
The goal came from a counter attack move which saw Spurs win back possession and the ball was played into the away side’s penalty area where it found the feet of Dele Alli.
The England international was unble to find the back of the net and the ball landed at the feet of recent signing Steven Bergwijn who made no mistake in netting his second goal for the club.
Dele will certainly be relieved to have seen Bergwin score when he really should have scored himself.
So far, it has been a much more positive approach and we’ve tried to move the ball quickly and direct through midfield, which is working well.
