New drone footage taken of the development of the new Tottenham Hotspur stadium have made it onto the net, courtesy of Mr AV.
The impressive footage was taken on Friday and provides an aerial view of the construction site, which shows the roof compression ring fully complete. The 600-tonne roof will take a number of weeks to be lifted into place
The compression ring sits at the back of the four stands and creates an elliptically-shaped ring, which will hold the cable net roof structure. After the cables have been lifted into position the roof will be covered with 287 glass roof sections and 810 cassettes.
