Video: talkSPORT pair admit their surprise at Tottenham

Dean Saunders and Ally McCoist have both admitted their surprise at how Tottenham Hotspur have coped without Harry Kane.

The striker has been sidelined since suffering ankle ligament damage during the last moments of the 1-0 defeat to Manchester United and has missed the last seven matches in all competitions.

The pair, who were hosting the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast on talkSPORT claimed that they thought that Kane’s injury would have hampered their season, yet find themselves having one foot in the quarter finals of the Champions League and are just five points off the top spot in the Premier League.

Heung-min Son was also singled out for special praise after another impressive display in the 3-0 win against Borussia Dortmund.
