A single Harry Kane strike cemented Tottenham Hotspur’s place in the quarter finals of the Champions League following a convincing 4-0 aggregate win against Borussia Dortmund.
It is the first time in eight seasons that Tottenham have made it to the final eight of the competition.
Harry Redknapp’s side beat AC Milan 1-0 to book their place in the same stage of the tournament back in 2011 with a side that featured the likes of Rafael van der Vaart, Michael Dawson, Luka Modric and Gareth Bale.
talkSPORT presenter Adrian Durham has questioned the significance of Tottenham’s qualification by claiming that the club did not build on the achievement.
You can watch the discussion with co-host Darren Gough, below.
"The question is, 'What does this mean for Tottenham?'"
"They were in exactly the same position in the #UCL 8 years ago, and didn't really build on it."
