Video: talkSPORT pundit labels Levy’s timing over Pochettino’s sacking as ludicrous

Former Leeds United defender Danny Mills has questioned the decision of Tottenham Hotspur to sack Mauricio Pochettino.

The club released a statement earlier this evening confirming that they had parted company with the 46-year-old (Spurs official).

Mills described the timing of the decision as ludicrous and believes that any decision to relieve the Argentine of his duties should have been done at the start of the international break.

Spurs travel to West Ham United on Saturday in fourteenth place in the Premier League table with just three wins to their name from their opening twelve matches.

Mills has suggested that in the coming hours it could possibly be confirmed that it has been a mututal decision between both parties.

Instead, the former defender has suggested that if Levy felt that Pochettino was no longer the man to lead the club; it should have been done shortly after the draw against Sheffield United.
