It is being suggested that a test event will be held at the new Tottenham Hotspur stadium in August.
If test events are being planned for August, it is hoped that the completion of the stadium is on schedule, with the new Premier League campaign kicking off on August 18th. Who knows? We could be playing our first ever home league match at the new stadium on this date.
The test event will be a ticketed event and will test all the functions within the stadium, at this time it is unknown what type of event this will be or who the opponents will be. Test events need to be held as part of health and safety guidelines.
Spurs superfan Chris Cowlin made yet another trip to the site of the stadium earlier this week and saw plenty of work being undertaken, including yet more roof panelling being added. Take a look at the video update, below.
