Video: Time-lapse footage shows impressive new Spurs stadium transformation

With Tottenham Hotspur heading to the south coast to face Brighton tomorrow afternoon, there has been a hive of activity in North London.

The NFL are in town for the first-ever game to be played at the brand new 62,062 seater stadium.

Following the embarrasing 7-2 defeat to Bayern Munich on Tuesday night, the grass playing surface was rolled underneath the 17,500 capacity single tier South Stand to reveal the artificial surface to be used on Sunday when the Oakland Raiders face the Chicago Bears.

Timelapse footage was captured by NFL UK of the impressive transformation which took place around the clock.

Spurs shook hands with the NFL with a 10-year agreement to host two games a season at their new state of the art venue (Guardian).
