Video: Today at the new Spurs stadium (8th October)

There seems to be plenty of positive headlines about the new Tottenham Hotspur stadium over the past week.

First, there was the installation of the new grass playing surface that commenced last Tuesday and was completed on Wednesday night.

The pitch had been prepared in the Netherlands and was brought to the UK in 23 refrigerated lorries earlier in the week.

This was followed by the sight of goalposts being tested temporarily earlier this afternoon when four people were spotted on the live webcams erecting the posts near the single-tier 17,500 seater south stand, before being taken down once more around 15 minutes later.

Earlier today, a Spurs fan paid a visit to the site of the new stadium to provide a visual update of the progress of the exterior of the stadium. Here is what he captured on film:
