Some of you may have missed the build-up play which led to Tottenham Hotspur’s second and vital goal against Brighton last night.

The build-up saw seven of Mauricio Pochettino’s players involved in the move which proved to be the matchwinner when Erik Lamela netted in the 76th minute. Lamela has now scored four goals in his last four league appearances for Spurs, as many as he had in his previous 58 combined.

Toby Alderweireld, Paulo Gazzaniga, Eric Dier, Kieran Trippier, Erik Lamela, Lucas Moura and Danny Rose all had a part to play before Lamela got his third touch of the move to coolly side-foot home with his left foot.

Keep an eye out for Kieran Trippier’s cheeky nutmeg on Beram Kayal at the start of the move. The Brighton player’s reaction said it all.
