Tottenham Hotspur were knocked out of the fifth round of the FA Cup following a penalty shoot out defeat to Norwich City.
Erik Lamela, Troy Parrott and Gedson Fernandes all missed from twelve yards to extend the North London club’s 29-year wait to once again lift the trophy.
After the final whistle there were ugly scenes in the west stand lower when Spurs midfielder Eric Dier ran up the steps and was involved in a physical altercation with a spectator in the home end.
The Spurs player had to be separated by the individual with supporters and club stewards involved.
