Video: Vincent Janssen speaks of his delight after winning trophy

Former Tottenham Hotspur striker Vincent Janssen has expressed his delight at winning his first trophy since leaving North London.

Janssen decided to swap Spurs for Mexico in the summer and was part of the Monterrey side which yesterday won the Liga MX Apertura title against Club America.

The Dutchman came off the bench to score a penalty in the shootout which Monterrey won 4-2 to secure their first Apertura crown since 2010.

After the match, Janssen spoke of his delight whilst also praising the unity of the team.

The 25-year-old endured a tough time at Spurs which included him being frozen out from Mauricio Pochettino’s first team and stripped of his squad number (talkSPORT).
