He’s one of our own, he’s one of our own. Harry Kane, he’s one of our own! He’s only gone and done it. Harry Kane is now the proud owner of the record of the most Premier League goals scored in a calendar year after scoring his 37th Premier League goal of 2017.
The goal came after a storming run down the left flank by Danny Rose which led to a Tottenham free-kick. Up stepped Christian Eriksen who whipped the ball into the box and onto the head of Harry Kane who nodded home to break Alan Shearer’s record.
Kane has now scored an amazing 57 goals in 2017 for club and country.
