Video: West Ham star raves about Spurs counterpart on social media

West Ham United midfielder Declan Rice has praised Tanguy Ndombele during a live question and answer section with fans on Instagram.

Rice claimed that he has been a fan of the 24-year-old since his time at Lyon and predicted that he would be a success in the Premier League having taken a season to adapt to playing in the English top flight.

The England international revealed that the Spurs players he has spoken to whilst on duty with the Three Lions have waxed lyrical about the Frenchman’s ability.

Rice, who has been linked with a move to Chelsea (talkSPORT) described Ndombele as a ‘proper’ player.

The Spurs man has been one of the club’s best players this season and showed his full range of ability against Sheffield United at the weekend, including a remarkable lob to score the North Londoners’ third goal.

Ndombele has played 24 matches for Spurs in all competitions this season, scoring four goals and providing three assists (transfermarkt).
