Harry Kane admitted that Tottenham Hotspur’s defeat to Wolverhampton Wanderers hurt.
Three goals in the final 18 minutes of the match saw the Premier League newcomers run out winners at Wembley as Spurs folded at the chance to close the gap on league leaders Liverpool.
Kane gave Spurs the perfect start with his impressive left-footed striker after 21 minutes and had supporters thinking that another routine win would be on the cards.
However, a spirited display from Wolves in the second half shocked Mauricio Pochettino’s side, who are now nine points behind Liverpool.
