Mauricio Pochettino rarely reveals his emotions, but the joy on his face after Tottenham Hotspur booked their place in the semi final of the Champions League was plain to see.
The Spurs boss had seen his side in a matter of seconds go from eliminated due to an injury time goal to back in front after VAR rightly judged offside for City’s strike.
After the match, Pochettino spoke with BT Sport and could not hide his joy and pride for his players. They now have a two-legged tie against Ajax to look forward to with the potential of facing either Liverpool or Barcelona in the final.
