(Video) Will the Spurs stadium be ready in time? One worker thinks not

Fellow fan Chris Cowlin has made his weekly visit to the site of the new Tottenham Hotspur stadium to find out what’s new and what is different over the past week.

There are now just 14 days until the first apparent test event to be held at the stadium and there are just eight weeks until the curtain opener against Liverpool in the Premier League on September 15th.

One record was beaten this week, there were 3,702 workers on site at the stadium with work taking place around the clock.

Chris believes that the first test event will not involve any on-field action and will be more about testing the screens and facilities and give a chance to around 15,000 – 20,000 people to see our wonderful new stadium. Local residents were asked about their knowledge of the test event, but have not been contacted by the club.

What was particularly interesting in this footage is that Chris has revealed that he was stopped by one of the electricans who works at the stadium and shouted: “This stadium will be never, ever be ready in time. Not a chance, not a chance.”

There’s plenty to see in the video, which you can view below.
