Stat Attack: Villa v Spurs

Stephen Warnock is Aston Villa’s highest ranked player in the EA SPORTS Player Performance Index. Warnock who is ranked 48th has won 72.5% of all the tackles he’s attempted so far this season.

Warnock is also third overall in the EA SPORTS Player Performance Index for total tackles won this season with 81, Maynor Figueroa leads the Index with 103.

Gabriel Agbonlahor was Villa’s main threat in their scrappy 0-0 draw with West Bromwich Albion last weekend.

Agbonlahor has bagged himself five goals this season and is Aston Villa’s second highest goal scorer behind Darren Bent. Agbonlahor has been accurate in front of goal with 53% of his 65 shots this season having been on target.

The 25-year-old Englishmen seems to be having difficulty finding the back of the net. He’s only put away five of the 27 chances he’s had this season, which according to the EA SPORTS Player Performance Index is a success rate of 18.5%.

Emmanuel Adebayor is ranked 3rd in the EA SPORTS Player Performance Index and is Tottenham’s highest ranked Player in the EA SPORTS Player Performance Index.

Adebayor bagged himself two goals midweek as Tottenham dispatched Bolton 4-1. Adebayor has had 50 shots on target this season and of those 50 shots he’s picked up 15 goals, which according to the EA SPORTS Player Performance Index is a shots to goals conversion rate of 30%.

PFA young player of the year, Kyle Walker, has been having a great season and has surely booked his seat to the EURO’s with England.

The defender has made 34 appearances this season and has been working hard in defence all season. The EA SPORTS Players Performance Index shows us he’s attempted 68 tackles and has won 72% so far this season.

Walker also scored a contender for goal of the season with his 75 th minute free kick against Blackburn in their 2-0 win, back in April.

Walker has scored two goals this season from only seven shots on target, which according to the EA SPORTS Player Performance Index is a 28% shots on target to goals conversion rate.
