Jamie O’Hara has expressed his concern at the current situation at Tottenham Hotspur.
The former Spurs midfielder believes that Christian Eriksen and Jan Vertonghen are both unhappy in what is currently an unsettled squad and missed the opportunity to bolster their squad.
O’Hara pinpointed the failure to sign a striker and a replacement right-back in place of Kieran Trippier as a problem whilst claiming that Kyle Walker-Peters is not ready to fill the void.
With Jan Vertonghen yet to play a minute of Premier League football this season and Eriksen finding himself on the bench for two of the opening three matches, O’Hara claimed that Mauricio Pochettino is not playing his best eleven.
Spurs now face a trip to the Emirates to face Arsenal in the North London derby on Sunday where supporters will be demanding nothing less than a performance where the players will press, show some creativity and ensure the bragging rights are ours.
