Tottenham Hotspur have begun the season with a trophy after a penalty shoot out win against Bayern Munich.
Spurs met the German giants in their own back yard earlier this evening in the final of the Audi Cup.
After leading the match 2-0, Mauricio Pochettino’s side gave away the advantage to draw 2-2 with the game decided on penalties.
Paulo Gazzaniga saved two spot kicks, whilst there was good heart shown from some of the younger players who stepped up to convert their effort from twelve yards including Jack Roles, Oliver Skipp and Japhet Tanganga.
Christian Eriksen’s penalty, on the other hand, was certainly one to forget.
