Former Tottenham Hotspur defender Kieran Trippier has described new manager Diego Simeone as different to any other manager he has worked under.
Trippier completed his move from North London to Atletico Madrid earlier this summer and is already adjusting to life after revealing he has already bought a house and is undertaking Spanish lessons.
He believes that Simeone will greatly improve the defensive side of his game, which most Spurs fans will agree is the weakest part after being caught out of position on many occasions last season, notably against Ajax in the Champions League semi final second leg.
The right-back was also asked after England’s 4-0 win against Bulgaria abut his exit from Spurs and admitted that it was difficult but felt it was the right decision after speaking with Mauricio Pochettino.
