“We need to wake up” – Some Spurs fans react to first-half performance at Crystal Palace

Some Tottenham Hotspur supporters have taken to Twitter to share their reaction after watching their side hold a one goal advantage going into the half time break against Crystal Palace.

Jose Mourinho’s side have looked the livelier of the two sides with Spurs uncharacteristically dominating the possession and having the better opportunities in the final third.

Palace did come close to levelling the score three minutes before half time when Eze’s curling effort beat the outstretched Hugo Lloris and clipped the outside of the post.

Tottenham’s goal came through Harry Kane when the striker’s long-range effort caught Vincente Guaita wrong footed to net his fifth goal at Selhurst Park.

Spurs had two good opportunities earlier in the match when Tanguy Ndombele and Harry Kane were both denied by the Palace keeper. Sergio Reguilon had also fired over the bar with his weaker right foot.

Here is what a selection of the North London faithful have had to say about the performance.
