“We were robbed” – Some Spurs fans react to 1-1 draw against Newcastle

Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to share their three word reactions to the 1-1 draw against Newcastle United.

Jose Mourinho’s side had a number of opportunities to put the game beyond the Magpies but were unable to add to the scoreline partly due to an inspired performance from Karl Darlow in goal.

Lucas Moura scored the opening goal of the game in the 25th minute when he tapped in at the back post following a cut-back across the six-yard box from Harry Kane.

Deep into injury time, VAR adjudged that Eric Dier had handled the ball in the penalty area after he jumped for the ball and his outstretched arm made contact with the ball from an Andy Carroll header.

Newcastle did not register a shot on target until the intervention of VAR.

Magpies forward Callum Wilson stepped up and buried the ball beyond Hugo Lloris which saw Jose Mourinho walk down the touchline in disgust while the match was still ongoing.

Here is what some Spurs fans had to say following the harsh draw.
