Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to share their reaction to this morning’s fixture announcement.
The Premier League announced the fixtures for the upcoming 2020/21 campaign where Spurs will be looking to vastly improve on last season’s sixth place finish which only secured Europa League football on the final day of the season.
The 2020-21 season will be five weeks shorter than usual because of the late end to 2019-20 due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The campaign is set to start on 12 September and finish on 23 May 2021.
As a result, the Premier League has scrapped its winter break because of fixture congestion.
FA Cup replays have also been scrapped for this season to ease pressure on the already packed calendar, while the Carabao Cup semi-finals in January will be one-legged.
The season begins with the visit of Everton and ends with a trip to Leicester City.
One date which many fans look out for is the North London derby at the Emirates, which is scheduled for March 13th.
