West Ham’s embarrassing Tweet to congratulate Liverpool after beating Spurs in final

West Ham United have once again shown their lack of class by congratulating Liverpool in an attempt to antagonise Tottenham Hotspur following their Champions League final defeat.

Liverpool were 2-0 winners in Madrid to deny Tottenham an historic first European Cup. While Spurs made it to the final of European football’s most prestigious cup competition along with a fourth successive top four finish in the Premier League, West Ham’s season highlight was beating Mauricio Pochettino’s side at the new stadium.

West Ham’s social media team are scraping the barrel this evening with the Tweet which they congratulate the Reds on ‘literally behalf of everyone at West Ham United’.

While the Hammers view Spurs as their main rivals, West Ham aren’t even on our radar.

A rented stadium, a crap claret carpet and a captain who will never play for England, let alone play in a European final. They couldn’t even beat minnows Astra Giurgiu in 2016 to qualify for the group stage of the Europa League.
