Tottenham Hotspur held an open training session at Hotspur Way on Monday as part of their Champions League final preparations with the world’s media invited to watch a portion of Mauricio Pochettino’s workout.
One journalist recorded a training drill where some of the Spurs squad including Kyle Walker-Peters, Eric Dier, Kieran Trippier took part in a ‘rondo’ where one group of players are tasked with keeping possession of the ball while completing a series of passes, while Harry Kane, Dele Alli and Danny Rose were tasked with trying to gain possession.
Instead of witnessing a slick interchange of passing between professional footballers, the media had to endure a horrible exchange that would have been more suited to Hackney Marshes.
Some Spurs fans took to social media to react to what they saw with some even claiming that it does not full them full of confidence ahead of the biggest game in the club’s history against Liverpool on Saturday evening.
