Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have reacted on social media to Jose Mourinho’s team selection for this evening’s match against Bournemouth.
Spurs were already without the service of Dele Alli, Eric Dier, Japhet Tanganga and Juan Foyth for the trip to the Vitality Stadium.
Bournemouth have lost seven of their nine Premier League meetings with Spurs (W1 D1), though that one victory did come in this exact fixture last season courtesy of Nathan Ake’s 90th-minute winner which saw the North Londoners having been reduced to nine men following the dismissals of Heung-min Son and Juan Foyth.
Eddie Howe’s side go into the match four points from safety in the Premier League relegation zone and looking to end a run of five defeats in a row.
Mourinho has made three changes to his side with Vertonghen replacing Dier, while Bergwijn and Lamela come in for Son and Moura.
Here is a selection of reactions from the Tottenham faithful on Twitter.
