What some of the Spurs players said on social media after Arsenal win

Some of the Tottenham Hotspur players have taken to social media following the Carabao Cup quarter final win against Arsenal.

The Spurs stars stopped short of posting selfies celebrating in the changing room in a similar fashion as to what the Gunners did after their 4-2 win in the Premier League earlier this month.

However, the players did share their thoughts on the victory, which was only the club’s second victory ever at the Emirates.

Goals from Son Heung-min and Dele Alli in each half gave Tottenham the win and secured a two-legged Carabao Cup semi-final against another London rival, Chelsea.

It was a vastly improved performance from Mauricio Pochettino’s side who certainly made up for the league defeat with a display that saw them dominate at the Emirates.

Spurs will be at home in the first leg, scheduled for the week commencing 7 January, with the return at Stamford Bridge a fortnight later.
