What some of the Spurs players said on Twitter after beating Leicester

Some of the Tottenham Hotspur players took to Twitter following yesterday’s nervy victory against Leicester City.

Spurs had to weather a late Foxes fightback to remain third in the table but also had to deal with being on the wrong end with one of the worst refereeing performances in living memory.

It’s a fourth consecutive league win for Tottenham who continue to keep the pressure on Liverpool and Manchester City at the top of the table with 12 league games remaining.

Davinson Sanchez, Christian Eriksen and Heung-Min Son were all on target to tighten their group on a top-four finish and are now ten points clear of both fifth-placed Chelsea and sixth-placed Arsenal.

Tottenham will now look to carry their Premier League form into the Champions League when Borussia Dortmund are the visitors to Wembley Stadium on Wednesday night for the first leg of the last sixteen clash.

Here’s what some of the Spurs players had to say following yesterday’s 3-1 win.
