What some of the Spurs players said on Twitter after demolishing Everton

Some of the Tottenham Hotspur players have been posting on social media following the impressive win against Everton.

Mauricio Pochettino’s players once again showed great character to come from behind after former Arsenal player Theo Walcott had put the Toffees ahead just after the twenty minute mark.

The home side gifted Tottenham a route back into the game following a comedy of errors between Jordan Pickford and Kurt Zouma saw the ball arrive at the feet of Heung-min Son, who finished beautifully from a tight angle.

From there in on, Tottenham took control of the game and dominated proceedings. A brace apiece from Son and Harry Kane along with goals from Christian Eriksen and Dele Alli ensured that Spurs went into Christmas on a high.

The win also sees Spurs take full advantage of Manchester City and Chelea’s inability to win this weekend as Poch’s players quietly go about their business to put the pressure on City and Liverpool above them.
