What some of the Spurs players said on Twitter after win against Burnley

Some of the Tottenham Hotspur players took to social media following the 1-0 win against Burnley to share their thoughts on the social network Twitter.

It was the second game in the space of five days in which Tottenham needed a late goal in order to get the result they wanted.

On Tuesday evening, it was an 85th minute equaliser from Lucas Moura against Barcelona that booked Spurs’ place in the next round of the Champions League and they left it even later against Burnley courtesy of a 91st minute strike from Christian Eriksen to secure all three points.

The victory moves third-placed Spurs to 39 points and within three of Liverpool in second. Burnley remain in 17th with 12 points – two points above the relegation zone.

Next up for Mauricio Pochettino’s side is a Carabao Cup quarter-final tie at arch-rivals Arsenal on Wednesday evening (19:45 GMT).

Here is a selection of reaction from some of the Spurs players.
