What some of the Spurs players said on Twitter after win against Cardiff

Some of the Tottenham Hotspur players took to social media after yesterday’s 1-0 win against Cardiff City in the Premier League at Wembley.

The only goal of the game came on eight minutes when Eric Dier fired home from six yards out. It was Dier’s first Premier League goal in 546 days, since netting against Watford at White Hart Lane in April 2017

Pochettino made just three changes to his team, although he had little other option with key first-team players Dele Alli, Christian Eriksen and Jan Vertonghen all injured.

Despite taking an early lead it was frustrating that Tottenham could not kill off the game, especially when Cardiff were reduced to ten men after Joe Ralls’ shocking off the ball challenge on Lucas Moura.
