Some of the Tottenham Hotspur players have been sharing their reactions on Twitter following the 1-1 draw with Barcelona.
It was a tense night at the Nou Camp and Mauricio Pochettino’s side certainly left it late to secure the point they needed in order to progress.
Inter Milan were unable to break down a resolute PSV Eindhoven side in the San Siro and could only muster a draw which was enough to see Spurs book their place in Monday’s draw for the last sixteen of the Champions League.
It was an impressive performance from Pochettino’s men who bounced back from conceding a goal within the first five minutes of the match following a defensive lapse from Kyle Walker-Peters who was making his first start in the competition.
In years gone by, there is no doubt that the players would have lost belief but this group of players keep working for their rewards and duly got it on 85 minutes when Lucas Moura finished from six yards to send the travelling Spurs fans into dreamland.
