Where does Harry Kane stand in the golden boot race?

Tottenham Hotspur forward Harry Kane has gone from strength to strength every season since he burst onto the scene five years ago.

In these five amazing years, Kane has bettered his goal scoring tally from the previous campaign each time around.

He has also clambered up the ranks to become vice captain at Spurs, captain of England, and one of the very best centre forwards in the world which has led to a Coral sign up offer for 2019 to tip Tottenham’s one of their own to reclaim the top goalscorer award.

He has also won three golden boot awards in the last three years, with two coming in the Premier League, and one on the biggest stage of all, the World Cup.

Kane has been in the race for the Prem golden boot for the last four years, so it isn’t surprising to see him right up there again.

His brace against Everton in the 6-2 win propelled Kane’s name up near the top of the list.

At the moment it seems to be a race between four main candidates, with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang leading the way on 12 goals.

Kane and Salah follow just behind on 11, and Raheem Sterling sits on 9.

A whole host of players are lagging back on 8 goals, but these remain the top four contenders for now.

SkyBet have Kane as 9/4 favourite to win the award for the third time.
