“Where was Kane” – Some Spurs fans share three-word reaction after Man Utd draw

Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to share their three-word summaries of the club’s return to action following the suspension of the Premier League due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Manchester United were the visitors to North London and despite having the better chances during the opening twenty minutes, it was the home side which managed to break the deadlock.

Poor defending from Luke Shaw and Harry Maguire allowed January signing Steven Bergwijn to drive forward and power a shot beyond David de Gea.

With Spurs hoping to cut the gap on the likes of Chelsea and United in the race for a top four finish, a victory for Jose Mourinho’s side would have been a significant step in the right direction.

United threw on Paul Pogba during the second half and his trickery proved to be too much for Eric Dier to handle when the defender clumsily brought down the Frenchman in the penalty area to gift Ole Gunnar Solskajer’s side to pull level from the spot through Bruno Fernandes.

The draw will certainly suit United more out of the two teams, in a frustrating end to the game for Spurs.

Here are how some fans reacted to the result.
