Who Spurs face in the Carabao Cup quarter final

Tottenham Hotspur have been drawn away to Arsenal in the quarter-final of the Carabao Cup.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side comfortably swept aside West Ham United 3-1 earlier this evening courtesy of a goal in each half from Heung-min Son and a rare effort from Fernando Llorente to seal the win.

Credit must be given to Pochettino for his team selection after many key players had featured in Monday night’s 1-0 defeat to Manchester City in the Premier League, he made ten changes in all.

Juan Foyth was particularly impressive in the heart of the Spurs defence alongside Davinson Sanchez and made a couple of crucial challenges. Oliver Skipp made his first-time debut with an appearance off the bench in the 8th minute in place of Christian Eriksen.

It was the second time that Spurs have won a match against the Hammers at the London Stadium this month.

Ties will be played in the week commencing Monday 17 December 2018.
