Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to share their reaction to Christian Eriksen’s assist for Denmark.

With the score locked at 0-0 against Switzerland, the 27-year-old performed a remarkable no-look assist when he received the ball on the touchline and with his first touch played the ball directly into the path of Yussuf Poulsen who found the back of the net.

It was exactly the type of creativity which he has failed to show in Tottenham colours over the past six months and instead fails to even beat the first man with his corner kick attempts.

Eriksen, who is out of contract in North London at the end of the season has already expressed his desire to leave the club to seek a new challenge whilst inviting interest from Spanish giants Real Madrid (Ekstra Bladet).

Aside from the assist, Eriksen was relatively quiet in the fixture which has seen Denmark go level with the Republic of Ireland at the top of Group D in the Euro 2020 qualifiers.
