Are Tottenham Hotspur in the market for a new social media manager?  I didn’t think so until I saw a Tweet this evening from Georges-Kevin Nkoudou who has once again hinted at his move.

It seems like the transfer saga between Marseille and Tottenham has been dragging on forever over Nkoudou’s move to White Hart Lane, however the winger has once again taken to Twitter.

It seems slightly embarrassing for both the player and the fans that he has had to resort to such lengths to try and get the deal public.  Only yesterday did he post a photo of himself wearing the Spurs training kit in an empty changing room at the club’s training ground.

Are Daniel Levy and co trying to wait until tomorrow to announce the signing to try and appease the fans from a lack of activity?  What do you think of the whole situation?

Have something to tell us about this article?

  1. It's bloody farcical the way this has dragged on. Is it DL playing silly buggers or is it the Marseilles? I'm very disappointed at the activity this summer. Our squad is way too thin now and I can't see us doing much in anything but the two domestic cups.

  2. How can all the deals take forever? No other club looks so ridiculous. Janssen was about a month in resolving. The last time we made the Champions League we similarly did not invest. Unsurprisingly it turned into a one off. Here we go again.

  3. I think Spurs should be totally embarrassed about the whole transfer window sager yet again levy making such a meal about signing players and doesn’t seem to want to pay more than 11 million for one our squad is getting smaller and smaller and more players going than coming in its the same every year its not good enough

  4. We need at least 3 brought in including this man. While a all host of clubs, including Hull, have smashed their transfer records, us who are in the bloody CL and wanting a top 4 finish have plastered over a few cracks. Disgrace Levy should be whooping we are in the CL we have fab new stadium been built and yet we sell several of our 1st team squad and bring in what? Wanyama looks a great buy but Janssen is an unknown quantity, as is N'Koudou. We need another attacking mid and a speed merchant preferably both with experience. I still feel we shouls have spent the the cash on Winjaldum, Sisoko, Zaha at least and preferably 2 marquee signings. Bloody disgraceful, Pooch will be gone end of season when we finish mid table and are eliminated in the group stages of the cL, then fail in the Europa league.
