The worst Tottenham misses of all time

Following Roberto Soldado’s glaring miss against Burnley last week, it made us think was that the worst miss we’ve seen in a Tottenham shirt in recent years?

Take a look over the below and leave your comments/vote on which you think is the worst of all. Leave your suggestions below, also.

Roberto Soldado vs Burnley

When is was easier to score, the Spaniard hit the bar – although he did set up two of the goals.

Darren Bent vs Portsmouth

This miss led to Harry Redknapp claiming that his wife, Sandra could have scored this effort. Unfortunately, Darren Bent couldn’t and he was soon packing his bags.

Roberto Soldado vs FC Dnipro

Another contender from Soldado, this time in the Europa League. The reaction from his team mates says it all.

Emmanuel Adebayor vs FC Basel

His penalty effort matched the little jig he decided to do in his run-up, embarrassing

.

Milenko Acimovic vs Fulham

Sadly we cannot find a video for this one. The year was 2003 and he was in prime position to score from six yards out after a Stephen Carr cross found him in the box. He claimed after the match he found it hard to sleep that night, he wasn’t the only one as the score ended 1-1.

Scott Parker vs Basel

Another vs Basel. This time it’s Scotty Parker who missed a guilt-edged chance with the goal gaping. Stick to doing your 360 turns, Scott.
