“Would be a dream come true” – Some Spurs fans react to potential loan deal

Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to react to reports linking the club with a move for Borussia Dortmund’s Paco Alcacer.

90min claim that the German giants have offered both Tottenham and Manchester United the opportunity to bring the striker to the Premier League for the remainder of the season.

Tottenham have been left short of an out and out forward following Harry Kane’s hamstring injury.

The England forward is not expected to return to training until April and miss a crucial chunk of the club’s hopes of finishing in the top four for a fifth successive season.

Alcacer signed for Dortmund on loan last season and made the permanent switch worth £20m (Eurosport) after netting 18 goals in 26 Bundesliga outings (transfermarkt).

This season, partly due to injury he has found regular first team football hard to come by and is likely to have been even more difficult following the arrival of Erling Braut Haaland.

Here is how some Spurs fans reacted to the possibility of Alcacer heading to North London.
