Tottenham Hotspur face Fulham at White Hart Lane this evening with a place in the FA Cup semi-final to play for.

Should Harry Redknapp play his strongest team, or are the amount of injuries dictating his starting line-up?

If you were Spurs boss, what starting line-up would you go with?

Here’s what we have come up with

Gomes

Corluka – Dawson – Bassong – Assou Ekotto

Kranjcar – Palacios – Modric – Bale

Gudjohnsen – Crouch

  1. Got to be as you have already written as there's really no other option,I'm glad Gudjohnsen's getting his chance now though.

  2. I have a sneaky feeling that hudds will be fit for the game so my line up will be:
    Gomes;
    corluka,dawson,bassong,bae
    Modric,palacios,hudds,bale
    Crouch, gudjohnsen

Would love to see a couple youngsters get about 10mins.

  3. This season never fails to amaze we have had shock after shock every week and on a Richter scale it must be near 9 and rising. The bookmakers must be laughing all the way to the bank . If this was any other sport there would be a inquiry into why so many teams can raise there game when its crucial to there survival then lose to a team they should beat . I now Teams can raise there game in a one of match but this is happening for a few weeks then when its save to do so they drop back to losing games to Teams in the same circumstance . There is a very good reason for this and its called targeting points with high Tempo games like Wolves last night they in the words of the commentators who pointed out that Wolves where a yard faster all over the pitch. This is a lesson for all Managers the best way to buy players is on loan or by there International form if they are internationals, the reason for this si teams with players sold by Spurs and other clubs have suddenly turned out to be star players like Duff Murhpy Zamora and a few more released by other clubs so the moral to this story is buy cheap and save money until new laws are allowed to police this mystery High Tempo is by using few youth and shock results by teams costing less than one of our reserves the way to compete with high Tempo in future is by using some youth players , based on this generalizatio i would have two mobile full backs and put Corluka in midfield to cover for Toms big frame and he can link with his fellow country men. Gomes Ekotto Dawson Bassong Bale Kranjcar Palacios Corluka Moderic Crouch Gudjohnson.COYS 4-2

  4. If Hudd is ready to go you've got to play him, with Bale LB and Modric LW. No other changes. Get the ball in Eidur's feet and let him distribute to bring in Kranjcar. BAE, then becomes cover across the back, Bentley and Rose as cover on the wings. If we need striker cover, Kranjcar to the middle. If Hudd's not ready, then the proposed lineup is really the only option. COYS – get it done and dusted.

  5. Having been at Stoke on Saturday I thought Akotto was a bit of a prat for trudging off the pitch on his own and not embracing the celebrations after a much hard fought win with his team mates and supporters. Perhaps a nice warm seat on the bench tonight might make him think that at this crucial stage of the season, causing friction in the team is not wise. For me Gomes, Corluka, Bassong, Dawson + Bale / Modric, Palacios, Kranjcar + Kaboul / Gudjohnsen + Crouch up front. Think probably the strongest we can field and depending on Tom and Bentley if they are sort of fit perhaps keep them back for the more important league games and use some of the youngsters on the bench. We have a tough April that could shape our destiny for CL and 4th spot. Not that I want to lose tonight but if it is a case of CL or FA Cup glory I think we all know what is more valuable to the club.

  6. If the Hudd is now fit is it worth risking him from the off? Hopefully he can come off the bench when we're winning 2-0 and Wilson can have a rest. I think
    Gomes
    Charlie Daws Bassong BAE
    Kranjcar Wilson Modders Bales
    Gud Crouch

  7. I would like to think with a hard working side out tonight we should complete the job we started away from home. Who ever we put out they have to work hard, close down fast and camp in their half, ensuring the errors made by all players and officials happen in their half not ours. I am sure with the right application we will win tonight, if we do what's the betting we get the toughest possible simi draw.

Enjoy tonight all, to be honest my mind is on the 4th spot in the prem, if we get it we get to keep Wilson and his fickle friends as well as attract some real class to the club.

  8. HR won't risk T'Hudd this early in his recovery and Bentley isn't really an improvement on Jimmy Krankie at the moment so yes, I think the suggested line-up is a shoe-in. I'd also place a large wager on Sarn't Wilson to pick up a yellow tonight to clear his suspension before the big games coming up.

  9. I know Gomes in centre mid next to Moders, stick the big clumsy lad Crouch in the goals (keep him outa the way) and push CorluKa up front to work along side Eider …. See its up there for thinking and down there for dancing…
