Our deputising goalkeeper looked far better than your average Premier League third choice today, showing why some fans believe he should overtake Vorm in the shot stopper standings at Tottenham.

He looked confident with his feet, was able to claim incoming crosses with relative ease, took no chances in possession, and made a few saves in the process.

A very good evening for the young keeper.

Tottenham finally put an end to their losing streak this evening, putting two goals past Brighton on their way to the three points.

The 2-1 victory was much needed for Spurs after losses to Watford, Liverpool and Inter Milan.
