Slightly against the run of play, Harry Kane (who else) has just given Tottenham Hotspur a 1-0 lead against APOEL Nicosia in Cyprus.
Just minutes before, Hugo Lloris nearly gifted the home side a goal with a trademark dodgy pass which left him racing back to his own goal, only for the ball thankfully to run out of play.
Kane now has three Champions League goals in two matches this season. You’ve gotta love September!
Thankfully we’ve managed to take our lead into half time, another goal will help to settle the nerves but it’s fair to say that APOEL are no pushovers on their home patch. A big 45 minutes coming up for Pochettino’s players. COYS!
